Arsenal's The challenge is very different from that which arrived at the Emirates Stadium with Carlo Ancelotti.
Mikel Arteta’s side were exceptional in dealing with the attacking threat from Los Blancos, and the only goal they conceded in the tie came from William Saliba's mistake in the Bernabeu at a time when they led 4-0 on aggregate. Beyond Declan Rice's two astonishing free-kicks, the other three goals across the two legs were well-worked and exploited the defensive weaknesses of Madrid.
Taking a three-goal lead to the Spanish capital, many thought that Ancelotti’s team would go all out, but even from the announcement of the line-up, it became obvious that this was going to be difficult.

Both Lucas Vazquez and David Alaba simply lacked the offensive threat to truly destabilise the Gunners' back line. Vinicius Jr and Rodrygo couldn't find the overloads needed, and both Jurrien Timber and Myles Lewis-Skelly were quite comfortable.
This is where the PSG threat is far greater for Arsenal as the French side arguably have two of the best attacking full-backs in the world: Achraf Hakimi and Nuno Mendes. Both scored in the 3-2 defeat to Villa, with Mendes also notching in the first leg 3-1 win, which proved a decisive goal in the tie.
He has since returned and has 32 goals and 11 assists in 42 matches this campaign.
Desire Doue and Bradley Barcola have also been in amazing form, and since January, the signing of Khvicha Kvaratskhelia has only increased the threat in attack.
This is set to be a brilliant tie between two sides who have the capacity to score plenty of goals. PSG managed six across the last-16 and quarter-finals, but the Gunners scored 14 times against PSV and Real Madrid as they have truly impressed in UEFA's elite competition.
The winner's reward will be a return to the final, where they will face one of Barcelona or Inter Milan. That, however, is not something to be thinking about at all, as both Arteta and Enrique plan for the showdown in just over a week's time.
