Champions League prize money for Arsenal, Chelsea and Tottenham with huge financial windfall

Arsenal, Chelsea and Tottenham fans will very soon be able to start planning their European away trips in the 2025/26 season. Thursday evening sees the Champions League draw take place at the Grimaldi Forum in Monaco and the eight league phase opponents for the London trio will all become clear.

Teams will be drawn against two teams from each pot, with one game at home and the other away to generate the eight fixtures. Sides from the same country cannot face each other and no club can play more than two teams from the same association.

Arsenal did take part in last season's Champions League but that was not the case for Tottenham and Chelsea as they instead played in the Europa League and Conference League respectively. They proved to be successful campaigns for both as Spurs beat Manchester United in the Europa League final and Chelsea got the better of Real Betis in their final.

Not only did the clubs get their hands on silverware but they also received a financial boost due to the money on offer in the competitions. The money does pale in comparison to what is on offer in the Champions League, though.

So what do Arsenal, Chelsea and Tottenham stand to earn in this season's Champions League when it comers to prize money?

Well, based on last season's figures, teams made £15.7million just for reaching the league phase. For every win in the league phase this season, using the last set of figures, clubs get £1.77million, with £590,000 for every draw.

Reaching the play-off round brings a further £843,000 and finishing in the top eight in the league would net a club £1.7million as well as the £9.27million for reaching the round of 16. Then, according to last season's figures, a quarter-final finish brings £10.53million and the semi-finals £12.64million.

If you were to reach the final then the runners-up make £15.59million and the winner £21.07million. The money on offer in the Champions League is huge and that in turn can give each club a nice financial boost in the process.
