M&S' 'perfect' £45 lightweight jacket 'looks fab with any outfit'

Marks and Spencer customers are heaping praise on a "fabulous" jacket that they claim "goes with everything." As the days grow brighter, many are looking to refresh their wardrobes, and appears to have the ideal piece.

The retailer's is priced at £45 and comes in a light indigo shade. It is available in sizes six to 24 and features pure cotton denim and top-stitched seams, as well as metal button fastenings, patch pockets on the chest and side pockets at the waist.

M&S boasts an extensive selection of lightweight jackets, including the priced at £69. Additionally, there's the £39.50 and the for £49.50.

The Per Una jacket has garnered an overall rating of 4.6 stars online, having racked up more than 200 five star reviews. Among them, one person said: "I love denim jackets and this one is another great jacket to add to my collection as I wanted one a bit longer and this is and I would defo recommend it."

A second wrote: "I love my 'Trucker Denim jacket' it is so well made and . I can dress it up or down - sooooo versatile. The jacket arrived super fast along with being really well packaged. Another hit from the design team at M&S."

A third impressed buyer added: "A denim jacket that , it goes with anything. True to size." A fourth commented: "Fabulous jacket. I love this jacket. I have it in two colours. Comfortable, stylish and great quality."

A fifth pleased shopper said: "A I was waiting for my size to come back in stock. It is stylish and comfortable. I love this colour. Great value too! I am not usually a size 6 probably and 8-10 but I seem to be size 6 with items."

A sixth review read: ". Good fit & looks great...will get lots of wear out of it." Another added: "Lovely jacket! Absolutely lovely jacket, very well tailored and well made.

"I bought it in all three colours! This , and because it's well made you'll be able to wear it for ages. Recommended!"

A different buyer wrote: "Perfect for all seasons. Good weight and well made. I will use all year round as an extra layer with trousers and dresses. I did go down a size as the jacket is quite roomy."

However, not all shoppers were quite so impressed, with some claiming the sizing was not as they expected. One person said: "It is going back unfortunately as the sizes at the moment are all over the place.

"I bought a 16, which is huge, and a 14 is just not cutting it. So taking it back. Instead I bought the M&S collection dark blue denim jacket with pockets at the front. Love it and a much better fit."

Another shopper, who bought the jacket in a different colour, added: "A bad choice on my part. Size 14 & 12 far too big. (I am not comfortable with oversized garments) Didn't like the colour either. Cream not attractive."
