CBSE has warned students and parents to beware of fake websites and agents. The correct information about duplicate mark sheets and certificates will be available only from the official website and board offices.
The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has issued a big warning to students and parents. The board has clearly stated that recently, some unauthorized and fake platforms are misleading students and parents. These platforms are spreading false information related to fake mark sheets, fake certificates, and record correction. Trusting such platforms is not only playing with the future of the students, but it can also lead to financial loss and legal problems.
CBSE has stressed that all official information related to the board is available only through the official website and regional offices of CBSE. Whether it is the issue of issuing duplicate documents, correction in certificates or mark sheets, or any service related to students and examinations, all processes are completed only through official channels.
Therefore, students and parents should not trust any unknown website, agency or social media page. Falling prey to fake websites and individuals can not only lead to loss of money, but sometimes legal troubles also arise.
Board becomes alert due to increasing fraud
In the recent past, many such cases have come to light where students were cheated in the name of getting duplicate mark sheets or certificates. At many places, some people were found claiming that they are associated with the board and can provide documents to students in a “shortcut” way. Whereas the reality is that CBSE has no connection with any such external agent or platform. The board has clearly said that students and parents should get official information only from the cbse.gov.in website and regional offices.
Appeal to students and parents
CBSE has appealed to all students, parents and schools not to pay attention to any rumor or false information. If there is any doubt, contact the regional office of the board directly or check the board's website. Along with this, the board also clarified that CBSE will not be responsible for any problem or loss caused due to information received from any third party or unauthorized platform.
How to differentiate between real and fake?
Students and parents can differentiate between real and fake information in this way:
Always get information only from the official website of CBSE.
Do not share your information on any suspicious website or social media page.
If a person claims to be a representative of CBSE, then verify his identity from the official channel.
Trust only the press release and notification issued by the board.
