GPSC Recruitment 2025: The Gujarat Public Service Commission (GPSC) has invited applications for the posts of Deputy Section Officer (DSO) and Deputy Mamlatdar. According to the notification issued by the commission, interested and eligible candidates can apply online by visiting the official website gpsc.gujarat.gov.in till 9 July 2025. Under this recruitment drive, the selection will be done based on a preliminary examination, main examination, and interview.
The commission has already clarified that the preliminary examination will be conducted on 7 September 2025. The target of this recruitment drive is to fill a total of 102 vacant posts.
Who can apply?
Educational Qualification: The candidate must have a graduate degree from a recognized university. Or, a degree from an institution recognized by UGC (University Grants Commission) will also be valid.
Equivalent qualifications recognized by the government will also work.
Computer Knowledge: The candidate must have basic knowledge of computer applications, as mentioned in the Gujarat Civil Services Rules.
Language knowledge: The candidate should have adequate knowledge of Gujarati and/or Hindi language.
Final-year students can also apply.
If a candidate is studying in the final year or last semester of graduation or his result is yet to come, then he can also apply. But before the last date of filling out the form for the main examination, he will have to pass the degree and submit the certificate.
Age limit
The age of candidates should be between 20 to 35 years old. Candidates of reserved categories (SC/ST/OBC etc.) will get relaxation in the maximum age limit as per government rules.
The application fee will be Rs 100
General category candidates applying for this recruitment will have to pay an application fee of Rs 100. At the same time, the reserved category will get an exemption in fee as per government rules.
This much salary will be given.
The selected candidates will be given a fixed salary of Rs 49,600 per month for five years initially. After this, the candidates will get a monthly salary ranging from Rs 39,900 to Rs 1,26,600 under Pay Matrix Level-7 as per the Seventh Pay Commission.
