Was the live photo uploaded properly?
The official account of Ayushman Uttar Pradesh states that the most common reason is that the live photo was not uploaded properly. If the live photo is not uploaded properly while making the card, the card may be rejected at the hospital during treatment.

Keep these things in mind.
As per the instructions, ensure that the photo is not blurred at all. Also, do not use a previously taken photo. Use a recent photo in which the face is clearly visible. By October 2025, more than 42 crore Ayushman cards have been issued in the country. Additionally, Ayushman Vaya Vandana cards are being issued for all senior citizens aged 70 years or above. To date, more than 89 lakh Ayushman Vaya Vandana cards have been issued in the country.

In Uttar Pradesh, treatment using the Ayushman Card does not require hospitalization. You can also receive treatment in an outpatient department (OPD).
