This time in 2025, on the occasion of 79th Independence Day, Prime Minister Narendra Modi has given a big gift to the youth. He has announced a new scheme named Pradhan Mantri Vikasit Bharat Rojgar Yojana. The purpose of this scheme is to provide new employment opportunities to crores of youth of the country, especially in the private sector, for this the government has fixed a budget of Rs 1 lakh crore.

PM Modi told that about 3.5 crore youth will get direct benefit from this scheme. Now the question arises that what is this scheme, who will get the benefit and most importantly if a youth leaves the job before 6 months, will he not get the help of 15 thousand rupees. What is Pradhan Mantri Vikasit Bharat Rojgar Yojana?

Pradhan Mantri Vikasit Bharat Rojgar Yojana is a scheme under which the government will give assistance of Rs 15,000 to the youth working in the private sector for the first time. This amount will be given in two installments, the first installment on completion of 6 months of job and the second installment after completing 12 months of job as well as financial literacy program. Along with this, the government will also give subsidy and incentives to the companies which will hire new youth.

Which youth will get the benefit of this scheme?

1. Those whose this is their first private job.

2. Employees who will be registered in EPFO i.e. Employees Provident Fund Organization.

3. Those whose monthly salary will be Rs 1 lakh or less.

4. Those who will stay on the job for at least 6 months.

Will you not get Rs 15,000 if you leave the job before 6 months?

Under the Pradhan Mantri Vikasit Bharat Rojgar Yojana, assistance of Rs 15,000 will be given in two parts. The first installment will be given only if you remain in that job for at least 6 months. The second installment will be given after completing 12 months and completing a small financial literacy training program. If you leave or have to leave the job before 6 months, then you will not be given this assistance.

What will be the benefit to the companies?

The government will not only help the youth but also the companies providing jobs. Especially the companies in the manufacturing sector will get a subsidy of Rs 3,000 per month per employee. This incentive will be given for two years. If the company is in the manufacturing sector and the employee works for a long time, then this assistance can also extend to the third and fourth year.
