Royal Challengers Bengaluru won IPL 2025 title at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad and won a prize money of Rs 20 crore, while runner-up Punjab Kings received Rs 12.5 crore. The tournament, recognized as the world's most popular T20 league, maintains its position as the highest-paying cricket competition.

The prize money structure for IPL has remined the same since 2022, reflecting the tournament's sustained financial strength and market position. The championship prize of Rs 20 crore and runners-up reward of ₹12.5 crore show significant growth from the inaugural season.

The first IPL season's prize distribution saw Rajasthan Royals earning Rs 4.8 crore as winners, while Chennai Super Kings received Rs 2.4 crore as runners-up.


Teams reaching the playoff stages have also been rewarded handsomely. Gujarat Titans, eliminated in the Eliminator stage, will received Rs 6.5 crore. Mumbai Indians, who were knocked out in Qualifier 2, will take home Rs 7 crore.
