Rayleigh Scattering Law

The main reason for the blue color of the sky is "Rayleigh's Scattering Law". According to this law, the scattering of different colors of light depends on their wavelength. Colors with short wavelengths (such as blue and violet) scatter more, while colors with long wavelengths (such as red and yellow) scatter less.

Because the wavelength of the blue color (about 450495 nanometers) is very small, it collides with the molecules of nitrogen and oxygen present in the atmosphere and spreads in all directions. This is why we see the sky blue.

Why blue instead of violet color?

A question arises that the wavelength of violet color is less than blue, then why does the sky not look purple? The reason for this is that -
