12 kg Gold, ₹5 Lakh Cash Looted At Gunpoint From Private Finance Company In Jabalpur; Accused Locked Staff At Bathroom

Jabalpur (Madhya Pradesh): A group of miscreants allegedly carried a a massive robbery at a private finance company and made away with 12 kg of gold and ₹5 lakh in cash. The accused bbarged in the building and carried the robbery at gun-point in broad-day light, as reported by police on Monday. 

According to information, the incident took place at ESAF Finance Company in Khitola on Monday morning around 9.

The police informed that the robbers arrived on motorcycles. They locked all the bank employees inside the bathroom, and carried out the robbery in just 15 minutes. The valuables were kept inside the locker. 

After committing the crime, they fled towards the highway on their motorbikes.

Later, the police were informed after which the teams from Sihora and Khitola stations rushed to the spot.

A case has been registered in the matter, and an investigation is underway.

According to DSP (Rural) Bhagat Singh Gautharia said, “The matter pertains to Khitola, where Isaf Finance Company was robbed by 3 men around 9 am on Monday. We have received a complaint of gold and cash theft. Police present at the spot are investigating the matter.”

“Efforts are being made to track down the accused. Teams have been sent to all parts of the district and officials in other districts like Katni, Chhindwara, Shivpuri and others have been alerted,” he added.
