As part of the ongoing Maharashtra Bonga Mukti Abhiyan (Loudspeaker-Free Maharashtra Campaign), BJP leaders visited Panvel on Monday, calling for strict action against unauthorized loudspeakers that are contributing to rising noise pollution and public dissatisfaction.
The party stressed that law and order must be upheld, and no form of hooliganism in the name of religion will be tolerated.
During the visit, party representatives met senior police officials at Kharghar, Kalamboli, and Taloja police stations, urging immediate removal of illegal loudspeakers from various parts of the city.
