A group of miscreants tried to disturb the atmosphere after climbing the gate of a dargah, waving saffron flags, and raising slogans in Uttar Pradesh's Prayagraj on the occasion of Ram Navami. A video of the incident has gone viral on social media.
According to reports, the individuals seen in the video were members of the right-wing outfit Maharaja Suheldev Samman Suraksha Manch. They arrived at the dargah of Salar Masood Ghazi (also known as Ghazi Miyan ki Dargah) in the Sikandra area on motorcycles.

The video shows three men on top of the dargah's gate, waving saffron flags. They can also be heard chanting "Jai Shri Ram" slogans.
The police were alerted about the incident, after which authorities rushed to the spot and removed the men from the dargah.
Legal action is being taken against those involved in Sunday's incident, according to DCP Kuldeep Singh Gunawat of Ganga Nagar. He explained that the Ghazi Miyan ki Dargah contains five shrines visited by both Hindu and Muslim worshippers, who offer 'chadar.' When certain individuals displayed religious flags and chanted slogans, officers stationed at the location promptly removed them. The DCP confirmed that peace has been maintained at the site.
Gunawat also stated that police personnel responsible for maintaining order during the incident are facing internal disciplinary procedures. He emphasized that strict action would be taken against anyone attempting to disrupt public harmony.
