The 28-year-old Russian streamer named Stepan Scoffy from Kudrovo was detained for desecrating a Russian flag hanging on his wall with Putin's face live on air. On the following day, in another live stream in a public playground, he was detained by the law enforcement officers on camera.

Lunatic Challenge in Exchange for Money:

Stepan Scoffy is known for his paid challenges on the live stream. In one of the streams, when someone challenged him to tear off the Russian flag behind him in exchange for a $12 donation, he went ahead and removed the flag from his wall, crumpled it, and tossed it aside, saying, “F**k this flag.”

Detained by Law Enforcement Officers:

His live stream received critical backlash. Netizens urged him to take down the video. To which he responded dismissively, stating he did not care who might come for him. Scoffy later issued an apology, saying, “Sorry to anyone I offended,” and claimed the footage was taken out of context.

However, on the following day, when Scoffy was doing another live stream in an open playground where he was again doing challenges in exchange for donations, law enforcement officers nabbed him from behind and detained him on camera.

Russian media outlets report that Scoffy could face criminal charges under laws against desecrating state symbols, which carry a penalty of up to one year in prison.
