Tensions flared in Jodhpur, Rajasthan, after a controversial Instagram post by a local youth following the recent terrorist attack in Pahalgam, Jammu and Kashmir. The post, which mentioned “Muslim army Ghazwa-e-Hind… Inshallah coming soon,” has triggered outrage and led to police action.
Zahid Malik, a resident of Jodhpur, shared the post on his Instagram story, prompting strong objections from Harish Dabi, another local. Dabi filed a complaint at Khanda Falsa police station, alleging that the post was intended to disturb communal harmony and provoke unrest.
In response, the police have registered a case and confirmed that action will be taken. “At a time like this, every citizen must act responsibly on social media. Posting objectionable content can invite legal action,” said police officer Balwant Ram.
The incident comes amid heightened national tension following the recent terror attack in Jammu and Kashmir, which has sparked widespread anger across the country.
