McDonald’s India (W&S) hosted its marquee annual McCafe Espressers event at Seawoods Mall, Navi Mumbai, bringing together baristas and coffee lovers for a day-long celebration of creativity, skill, and shared passion for coffee.
A total of 17 baristas participated in the event, showcasing their expertise in their unique brews, artistic latte techniques, and innovative flavour combinations. The event featured 4 winners, receiving Platinum, Gold, Silver, and Bronze awards.
The highlight of the day was the ‘Be Your Own Barista’ (BYOB) experience, where over 500 guests had the opportunity to step behind the counter and learn the basics of brewing, latte art, and barista techniques under the guidance of trained McCafe Baristas. Participants also took away with their Level 1 Barista Certification, making the event not only enjoyable but also memorable .
McCafe Espressers drew this enthusiastic response and succeeded in fostering a deeper appreciation for coffee craftsmanship among attendees. The event reflected McCafe’s commitment to building a vibrant coffee community by creating inclusive and engaging experiences for both experts and enthusiasts. McCafe Espressers continues to bring coffee enthusiasts together as an ode to India’s coffee culture.
