Coronation Street fans 'work out who Tia Wardley really is' amid bombshell arrival

Tia Wardley's looming arrival on Coronation Street has sparked new theories about her link to Lisa Swain and who she really is. Something about the spoilers and the pictures showing Tia introduce herself has left fans convinced there's more to her debut.

We know Tia as being the lead Logan Radcliffe gave to Carla Connor, who has visited Logan in prison. Amid Lisa fearing her late wife Becky Swain was a corrupt officer before she died, rumours about her death have plagued her and her daughter Betsy for a while.

So when Logan dropped the name 'Tia Wardley' on Carla, she was left confused about who this was and why there was nothing about her anywhere. But Lisa reveals the name to her colleague Kit Green next week who is taken aback.

With us finally, possibly, finding out Tia's link to the whole storyline and who she really is, it may reveal more answers about what Becky was working on before her tragic death. But as Lisa's partner Carla prepares to propose next week, teasing an engagement is on the way, they are rocked by Tia's abrupt appearance.

Pictures show the moment that Tia interrupts their family dinner party at The Bistro. She walks over to Lisa and tells her she is Tia, the person she and Carla have been looking for.

The pictures also appear to show Betsy speaking to Tia and Carla looking worried, while nothing is explained in the spoilers. But fans have come up with a new theory that may reveal all is not as it seems.

While there are theories concerning Tia's real identity, including a DNA prediction, some fans believe Tia is not the real Tia Wardley. It's all to do with Lisa's boss DI Costello and a comment shared in the spoilers that he makes before Tia shows up.

Fans know Costello is hiding something, and has refused Lisa and Kit access to the files Becky was working on before she died. There's been speculation he knows what really happened and may have been involved.

Spoilers reveal that Costello will ask Lisa about her plans for the evening, and Kit is left suspicious by this. Then in the same episode, Tia happens to show up at the place Lisa is and tells her who she is.

Fans believe Tia's arrival is orchestrated by Costello, and that perhaps she's not the real Tia. Viewers have questioned if she's been sent by Costello to cover up the truth and stop Lisa and Kit looking into things.

One fan posted on social media: "The young woman who interrupts the Connor Swains celebration at the bistro ain’t the real Tia Wardley! She’s some random sent by Costello to feed Lisa more lies to shut her down."

Another fan agreed: "So I don't think this girl is the real Tia Wardley," as a third said: "I agree. Costello asking what Lisa was doing that evening and then 'Tia' appearing it's very suss." A fourth fan posted: "Funny how she just turns up after costello asks what Lisa's plans are for the night."
