Donald Trump gave Foreign Secretary Yvette Cooper a lengthy handshake after landing at Stansted airport for his second state visit to the UK.
The pair shook hands and spoke for a little over 11 seconds after he disembarked from Air Force One, and before he was whisked away on Marine One to Winfield House, the US Ambassador's residence where he will spend the night.
Ms Cooper has previously criticised President Trump's "aggressive misogyny" and "appalling behaviour."
In 2017, she wrote: "We are forgetting to be disturbed by Trump, he is normalising hatred & it's dangerous."
And in another post in 2015, she wrote: "He may like to shock, but this isn't a game, it is irresponsible & dangerous."
And writing about Theresa May ahead of his visit to the UK in 2018, she criticised her "desperate rush to invite him, her repeated reluctance to criticise his Muslim ban or caging of children, her chasing him for a bad trade deal...For God's sake Theresa, stand up to him today."

The president landed in the UK for his historic second state visit in the country this evening. Prime Minister Keir Starmer is hoping to put on a spectacle for Trump.
He will likely attempt to press Trump toward a more pro-Ukrainian position in the war and cut a deal that lowers the tariff barrier for British products to enter the US market.
Trump will travel to the US Ambassador's residence, Wingfield House, in London's Regent's Park tonight. He will then be greeted by a royal salute on Wednesday morning at Windsor and will then be taken by carriage through the Windsor estate.
He will be accompanied by King Charles, Queen Camilla, Prince William and Princess Catherine. The route they travel will be lined by members of the armed forces.
