Amar, 39, appeared on the BBC programme between October 2019 and October 2020 before he was sent to prison by his mum, Suki. She had framed Jags for assaulting Martin Fowler, even though her other son, Vinny was responsible for the attack.
Enraged by Jags' relationship with Habiba, Suki took a pair of bloodied jeans owned by her son to the local police station and claimed he was wearing them on the day Martin was assaulted.
Jags was eventually carted off in the back of a police car and was imprisoned, leaving fans raging that Suki could betray her son in such a way. But shortly after his on-screen exit, it was confirmed that Jags had died in prison, leaving the Panesar family completely heartbroken.
