Selfridges and Harrods are department stores held in high esteem by the public, and with good reason. They have a ton of designer wares available to try and buy, and they also sell delicious food, but it often doesn't come cheap. is known on for trying food with her mum, Ann, often in the comfort of her car, and she decided to pit Selfridges and Harrods against each other.
First off, Laura and Ann tried the sausage roll, and Laura said it "looks really good" and "golden". Neither of them had tried it before, so it was their first impression of the pastry.
Laura said "mmm" as soon as she chewed the Selfridges sausage roll, and when she'd finished her mouthful, she said: "That is amazing".

Ann said that the "pastry's really good," and Laura described it as "flaky and buttery". "Yeah, buttery, and it's not really oily," Ann agreed.
Ann continued: "And the sausage meat you can see, well, you can just tell that it's quality".
Laura admitted: "I can't fault this at all," and Ann agreed, saying that it was "really nice" and "really buttery actually" as she continued to eat it.
"I've not had a sausage roll that's really buttery," Ann gushed, so she really enjoyed this one. Laura then shared that the Selfridges sausage roll would set you back £4.29.
Then, they tried the sausage roll, and Ann reckoned it "looks drier" than the Selfridges one.
Laura said that with the Harrods sausage roll, "the ratio is off" between pastry and sausage meat. "It's more sausage meat than pastry," she complained.
Laura continued: "The pastry is less buttery in my opinion, and I prefer the pastry in the Selfridges one, but the sausage meat is very good [in the Harrods one]".
"I prefer the sausage meat in the Harrods one, yeah," Ann agreed, but the pastry of the Selfridges one took the crown, because it's "buttery".
If you want to try the Harrods sausage roll, it would set you back £5, but Ann did say that "it's a decent size". However, Laura did argue that personally, she likes a "bit less sausage meat" than the Harrods one provided, as she likes it to be "more balanced".
"But they're both really good quality sausage rolls and a good price," Ann concluded the video by saying.
In the comments, someone wrote, " sausage roll for the win." Laura replied, " I love that." Greggs sausage rolls cost just £1.30, so they are much cheaper than one from Selfridges or Harrods, and they have a good reputation for a reason. "Nothing beats a Greggs," another added.
A woman made another suggestion, sharing: " sausage rolls—I think they say a buttery pastry is nice—a pack of two for around 3 or 4 pounds! You have to heat them up at home, though! Very nice with HP sauce."
