BILLY APRAHAMIAN can continue a breakthrough season by saddling EL RAYO (5.05, NAP) for his first win at Huntingdon today.
The Northants trainer, who sent out just three winners last term, took his score to 15 on Sunday to keep his 20-strong team operating at an impressive 17 percent strike rate. The selection has only run three times for the stable, producing his best run on hurdles debut when third at today’s track and his two efforts since were better than the bare form suggests.

The Flat turf season gets under way at Newbury where YOUTHFUL KING (4.10, NB) could be worth following in the 2m handicap.
The six time winner has recorded all his success so far at trips up to 1m4f but he showed another side to him when running third on his debut at the distance in the Queen’s Prize at Kempton last month.
After a four month break over the winter, he should strip fitter for that recent run.
