Timothée Chalamet and are said to have developed a strong friendship as they bonded over growing up as child stars. The Dune actor, 29, is said to be a "rock" for the Baby singer, with a source claiming regularly gives advice to Justin.
The two friends met through Justin's wife, , and Timothée's girlfriend, , who are close friends. Insiders have said the two Hollywood stars often meet up in Los Angeles to eat or drink something together, mainly in hotel cafes where they can enjoy more privacy compared to other public spaces.
According to a source, Timothée "knows what it is like to start working at a young age so Justin can relate to him" and since he is "really good at handling fame," the actor gives his friend advice too.

Speaking to the , the source said: "He tells Justin to not take it all so seriously and just cut loose, be yourself. He is a great influence on Justin, a rock, because he is so stable whereas Justin is more emotional. Timothée also has that New Yorker sensibility where he just doesn't care, he does his thing and he doesn't give a crap what people say."
Another link the friends share is that they both know , who was Justin's girlfriend in the past before he met Hailey, married her and welcomed their baby son together. Timothée's relationship with Selena was a professional one was he played her lover in the 2019 Woody Allen film, Rainy Day in New York.
The source said that Hailey and Kylie - who she met through her sister Kendall - are "tight" and spent time together at Coachella. They added that despite speculation about Justin's behaviour, he is "just trying to have fun and stop thinking about how he is perceived."

Hailey and Justin, who got married in 2018, are no strangers to being photographed whilst out in public, but he has now shared footage from their perspective, showing the reality of being confronted by flashing lights and photographers whenever they are out and about.
He shared the video with fans on . Justin - who earlier this month in a separate incident, in which he said they didn't "care about human beings" - wrote in the caption: "This has to stop."
The footage, which was filmed from Justin's perspective, shows him leaving a property to be greeted by paparazzi on the street. Flashes of light are seen as photos are taken of the winner and Hailey, who was with him. As the couple are being directed towards a car parked nearby, someone, seemingly in their entourage, warns: "Watch out, guys. Watch out, watch out." Justin is then heard saying amid the flashes: "Look at these guys, man!"
Moments later, someone urges: "Guys, can you back up please?" As photographers stand in front of the vehicle as Justin gets closer, someone appears to tell them: "Yo, watch out!" Justin appears to once again say: "Look at these guys."
Hailey is briefly seen behind Justin as she gets into the car. An apparent member of their team then appears to shine a torch towards paparazzi before saying: "You guys done? Go ahead. Go, y'all good. Go!" There is tension as words are exchanged before Justin gets into the car as the video ends.
