M60 traffic LIVE: Major motorway to close 'for several hours' after horror bike crash

Drivers on the M60 are facing traffic woes following a horror crash between a motorbike and a car. A stretch of the motorway was closed on Sunday evening after the incident, with motorists being held on the clockwise carriageway from J15 for the M61 and Swinton Interchange, to J16 for the A666 Manchester Road.

National Highways said the motorway closure was due to a "serious" collision and would last for several hours. Traffic cameras showed significant congestion.
