Emergency services rushed to Shepherd's Bush in west London on Friday morning after receiving a report of an alleged rape. The reported incident prompted the Metropolitan Police to cordon off an area.
Scotland Yard said it was called at 10.37 this morning to Rockwood Place after the allegation was made a woman in her 40s.
The force is appealing for information. A spokesperson said no arrests have yet been made.
