BBC Question Time host Fiona Bruce was forced to ask the audience to "forgive me" after making a huge blunder about Prince Andrew during Thursday's live broadcast (October 30). The presenter accidentally referred to the Duke of York by his royal title just hours after King Charles confirmed that Andrew would no longer be addressed as "Prince." The slip-up came as the panel debated the King's decision to formally remove his brother's remaining royal privileges, sparking an immediate chorus of corrections from guests and laughter from the audience.
She said: "I should remind everyone that Prince Andrew has, of course, always protested his innocence and denied the allegations". Matthew Goodwin and other voices immediately began to correct her, insisting "it's just Andrew" before she held her hands in the air and said: "Of course, it's Andrew. Forgive me, force of habit." She went on to say "Andrew Mountbatten Windsor has always denied the allegations against him and the King has said are deemed necessary notwithstanding the fact that he has continued to deny the allegations against him."

The gaffe came just hours after Buckingham Palace confirmed that King Charles had formally stripped Andrew of his titles and honours, marking the final step in his brother's removal from royal life.
In a statement, the Palace said a formal notice had been served on Andrew to surrender his lease at the Royal Lodge in Windsor, where he has lived for more than two decades.
The King's move follows mounting pressure to evict the Duke from the estate amid ongoing public anger over his links to convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein and allegations from Epstein victim Virginia Giuffre, which Andrew continues to deny.
Aides confirmed the 64-year-old will be moved to a property on the Sandringham Estate, with future accommodation privately funded by the King.
The Palace added that "Their Majesties' thoughts and utmost sympathies remain with the victims and survivors of any and all forms of abuse.
"Formal notice has now been served to surrender the lease and he will move to alternative private accommodation."
Elsewhere, Fiona was forced to step in to break up a furious row between author Matthew Goodwin and Labour's Lisa Nandy.
The pair locked horns during a tense discussion about illegal immigration and crime, with Goodwin arguing that rising migration levels had contributed to "shocking cases" of violence across the country and claiming the system was "broken and in urgent need of reform."
Nandy hit back almost immediately, branding his comments "outrageous" and accusing him of "trying to create distrust, division and fear."
The argument quickly spiralled, forcing Bruce to cut in with her hands raised, shouting above the noise: "Matt, wait one second - both of you wait one second! If you talk at the same time, no one can hear anything."
