Prince Harry reunited with his father, King Charles, earlier this month at Clarence House, marking the first time the father and son had seen each other since February 2024. While their relationship is believed to have been rocky over recent years, the meeting-which lasted just shy of an hour-has been seen as a positive step in the right direction, giving Harry the reconciliation he has publicly expressed a desire for.
However, while the meeting was believed to have gone well, the Duke of Sussex, 41, has faced various criticisms since, including claims his meeting with his father was an attempt to disrupt the relationship between the King, 76, and his older son Prince William, 43. It is believed Harry and William have not been on talking terms for some time.
Prince Harry's spokesman has now responded to such claims. They said: "Categorically not. Harry is not trying to drive a wedge between the Prince of Wales and the King."
The statement comes as William and the King have just enjoyed a few days together at Balmoral Castle, something they have done for the last few years as King and heir.
