Cleaning your television can be tricky, especially if you're worried about leaving marks.
Your screen can get dusty quickly, which can impact your viewing experience when you use it.
Televisions can be expensive, so it's important to take extra care when you're cleaning it so you won't have to spend money on a new one.
Consumer site, Which?, has warned against using one common household item to clean your screen which could cause damage.
It says: "Don't use a rough cloth or kitchen roll. The abrasive surface could scratch your screen."
Instead, it says you should use a dry soft cloth, ideally microfibre or similar to something you might clean a pair of glasses with.
Which? adds: "There are dozens of cleaners for all manner of surfaces in your home from worktops to windows, but many are too harsh to use on a delicate TV screen."
To clean your television safely, you should first switch it off and allow the screen to cool.
Then gently wipe with a dry microfibre cloth, moving in circular motions.
For stubborn marks, lightly dampen the cloth with water or a small amount of screen-safe cleaner - never spray liquid directly onto the screen, says Samsung.
You'll likely spend a lot of time watching your television so keeping it clean can help colours look brighter and images look sharper.
Currys says: "Avoid using harsh chemicals or abrasive cleaners, as they can damage the screen's delicate surface.
"Once you've cleaned the screen, use a dry microfibre cloth to gently buff away any moisture and leave it streak-free."
It also suggests using a can of compressed air to blow away dust from hard-to-reach areas like vents and crevices.
By using the right cleaning method, you can protect your television, preserve picture clarity, and enjoy your favourite shows at their best.
