If you have had your eyes on a new TV for a while but have been waiting for a good deal to come along, this might be the one for you - though this particular offer won't last long. From today, EE has discounted the Samsung Q7F QLED 4K Ultra HD Smart AI TV to £269, a £100 saving on the regular price the retailer sells it for.
The sale price of £269 massively undercuts high street favourites Argos and Currys, who at the time of writing were both selling the exact Samsung TV for £419 - and the TV is actually worth £499 when sold at its full RRP.
Getting a £499 TV for £269 is a Black Friday level of savings - the catch being, EE is only selling the screen at this price while stocks last starting today, Tuesday September 23, and the firm says there is limited stock. So if you want to grab this deal, you'll need to be quick.
This discounted Samsung TV is only available via the EE app, but the good news is the offer is open to anyone. You don't have to be an EE customer or subscriber to get it.
You can download the EE app for iPhone here and the same app for Android here.
More importantly, is the TV on offer any good? I haven't tested it but a 43-inch Samsung QLED with 4K resolution looks great on paper. It even has 4K upscaling built in to boost visuals on all content, if you want it to, plus adaptive sound tech depending on what's happening on screen.
You also get Samsung Gaming Hub to download and play games without a console, plus access to download and sign in to all the streaming apps you'd expect such as Netflix, Disney+, Prime Video and BBC iPlayer.
"The Samsung Q7F is the perfect accompaniment to EE TV which is exclusive to EE and BT broadband customers," EE said. "EE TV offers flexible content packages and a choice of hardware with the EE TV App on Apple TV 4K, alongside EE's own set-top box range, inclusive HD on Sport packages and a range of TV Extras that can be added and removed each month."
Of course EE would like you to subscribe to EE TV, but it's not necessary to use this Samsung TV. You can pick up the device today for £269, while stocks last.
