Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu's Caesarea home was hit by a Hezbollah drone launched from Lebanon. The drone attack has reportedly damaged the window of his bedroom but did not penetrate the home, apparently because of reinforced glass and other protections, reported The Times of Israel. The report said that pieces of the glass had landed in the family's pool nearby in the yard. An image shared by Israeli news media outlet Jerusalem Post’s editor-in-chief Zvika Klein showed the damaged window pane and trees cut into half.
Further, Hezbollah claimed responsibility for a drone attack last week targeting the home of Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, and acknowledged that some of its fighters have been taken captive by the Israeli army, as per a report by AFP. Hezbollah spokesman Mohammed Afif made the remarks during a press conference in Beirut's southern suburbs that was cut short following an Israeli evacuation warning for the area. An Israeli strike hit a target hundreds of metres (yards) away from the site of the conference just minutes after journalists left, AFP reported. Hezbollah "declares its full, complete and exclusive responsibility for the Caesarea operation targeting... Netanyahu", Afif said.(This is a developing story. More details to be added)BREAKING: Nearly half a week later, it's revealed that a Hezbollah drone struck Netanyahu's home in Caesarea, causing serious damage.
