It’s been four years since Rishi Kapoor’s demise and his void is still felt. His memories live on, survived by his wife Neetu Kapoor, daughter Riddhima Kapoor Sahni, and son Ranbir Kapoor. After his death, Neetu returned to acting. In one of the episodes of the recently released Fabulous Lives vs Bollywood Wives, Neetu recalled being sceptical about signing acting projects. Riddhima, a jewellery designer based in Delhi, made her debut with the third season of Dharma Productions-backed Fabulous Lives Of Bollywood Wives.

Neetu Kapoor on returning to work after Rishi Kapoor's demiseIn one episode, Neetu told Riddhima, “After Papa (Rishi) went...I was not ready. You know how the trolls are. But you (Riddhima and Ranbir) pushed me. I did a show, I did ads. I used to shake before going.” The veteran actress added, “That's why I have taken a backseat this year. If I stayed home and didn't do anything, I'd go crazy. Today, I feel much better. I wasn't good even until last year.” ALSO READ: Riddhima revealed, “I don't think we've healed (from Rishi’s death). We don't show it, and we are not vocal about it. But andar se (from the inside), we're still hurting.”In an interview, Neetu said returning to work after Rishi’s death was therapeutic. She told India Forums, “After that, it felt like someone is applying a balm on your injury, so my heart was full of positivity, I forgot the sadness in life as well so I think it was a good film that came at the right time.” Neetu Kapoor's upcoming projects After a decade-long sabbatical, Neetu returned to acting with JugJugg Jeeyo in 2022. Her co-stars were Anil Kapoor, Varun Dhawan, Kiara Advani, Maniesh Paul and Prajakta Koli. In the same year, she judged the reality show, Dance Deewane Juniors. Neetu’s upcoming film is Letters to Mr Khanna.
