Rajasthan Royals pick SA pacer Nandre Burger as injury replacement for Sandeep Sharma

Jaipur: Rajasthan Royals (RR) picked Nandre Burger as an injury replacement for Sandeep Sharma for the remainder of TATA Indian Premier League (IPL) 2025.

Sandeep Sharma, who played 10 matches for RR this season and scalped 9 wickets, sustained a finger injury during the match against Gujarat Giants at the Sawai Mansingh Stadium in Jaipur on April 28.

Nandre Burger - the left-arm South African pacer - has previously played for RR in the TATA IPL 2024 and picked 7 wickets from 6 games. He joins RR for Rs 3.5 Crore.
