Ranchi: INDIA bloc parties in Jharkhand are likely to unveil their seat-sharing arrangement here on Monday, sources in JMM, Congress and RJD said on Friday.

Late on Thursday night, chief minister Hemant Soren met Ghulam Ahmad Mir, the AICC’s Jharkhand affairs in-charge, state Congress president Keshav Mahto Kamlesh and CLP leader Rameshwar Oraon at his official residence over dinner. While Congress sources termed it a formal meeting, insiders said seat-sharing talks were held. However, both JMM and Congress remained tight-lipped over the meeting.

Hemant was due to host former Bihar deputy CM Tejashwi Yadav on Friday evening. However, RJD leaders said the meeting was shifted to Saturday as Yadav arrived in Ranchi by road and checked into a city hotel late at night. “The meeting is likely to be held tomorrow,” Manoj Yadav, state spokesperson for RJD, said.
