Battleground, the web show that has been the buzz of the town since its debut, has finally ended. Four teams competed in the show: Haryana Bulls (headed by Rajat Dalal), Mumbai Strikers (led by Rubina Dilaik), Delhi Dominators (led by Abhishek Malhan), and UP Dabangg (led by Neeraj Goyat). And in the grand finale, Abhishek Malhan's team, which included Delhi Dominators players Rounak Gulia and Nisha Mishra, won Battleground.

Battleground, which focused on fitness, aired for four weeks and finished on May 10, 2025. As the results were announced on Battleground, the show's winner, Abhishek Malhan, congratulated Rounak Gulia and Nisha Mishra on their huge triumph. He uploaded a photo of them with the trophy and congratulated the winners.

In this post, Abhishek Malhan also included photos of Rubina Dilaik, Shikhar Dhawan, Kashish Kapoor, and other team members. Abhishek shared, "Congratulations to these 2 super Girls @rounak_wrestler and @nisha_optimist, who made sure Delhi dominators actually dominated Battleground season 1. Is baar seedha 2 Trophy ek saath. Let’s goo panda gang."

Battleground has been in headlines since the web show's inception. From team leaders battling to candidates facing off, the show provided unexpected situations that kept viewers fascinated.

The show drew the audience's attention when Asim Riaz, a former gang leader who led UP Dabangg, was supposedly kicked from Battleground. Asim questioned Rubina Dilaik's appearance on Battleground, a fitness reality show. He believed Rubina was unsuited for the performance.

Following this incident, Shikhar Dhawan requested that Asim apologise to Rubina. As a result, Asim was supposedly told to leave Battleground. However, Asim claimed to have walked out of the show.
