The Diplomat actress Sadiaa Khateeb has been shooting for a new project. The actress is shooting for a film with Kapil Sharma. The movie is a launchpad for Riddhima Kapoor who will be making her Bollywood debut after making her OTT debut with Bollywood Wives vs Fabulous Lives.
Some pictures shared by the actress has Riddhima Kapoor Sahni with her daughter and Kapil’s daughter in it. Earlier Kapil had shared pictures from the set too. When we reached out to Sadiaa, who’s in Shimla shooting for the film, said she can’t talk anything about the project. “All I can say is that I am shooting with the most incredibly talented bunch of people and I am having the best time shooting. It’s been almost one and a half month I am here and I am not at all homesick I am feeling totally at home being around such amazing fun people! I’m only grateful,” she said.
Kapil Sharma recently gave fans a glimpse behind the scenes by sharing a photo from the film set on Instagram. The candid picture showed the comedian-actor surrounded by his wife Ginni Chatrath, Riddhima, Neetu Kapoor, Sadiaa Khateeb.
Riddhima also took to Instagram to post a moment from the same evening. The group beamed for the camera, and she captioned the photo with a heartfelt message: "Happiness is contagious, spread it." In a recent interview with a publication Riddhima confirmed her upcoming Bollywood debut. “Yes, I’m filming a movie in the hills. All I can say is that we’ll be shooting here until June,” she said.
Talking about her family’s reaction, she added, “They are so excited. I keep sending them snippets from the shoot. They’re incredibly supportive. The best part is that mom and I are staying together—we rehearse our lines every day. Samara (my daughter) will join me once her school breaks for the summer holidays.”
According to Pinkvilla, the yet-to-be-titled film is being produced by the renowned duo Abbas-Mustan and is slated for release in the second half of 2025.
