There is a lot of talk going around that WWE could be bringing back Evolution, it's all-women’s wrestling event. The first WWE Evolution happened in 2018 and featured top women from Raw, SmackDown, and NXT. It was a big moment in WWE history and received a lot of love from fans. Ever since then, people have been asking for a second one.

Now, reports say WWE might finally be working on Evolution 2, and it could take place in Atlanta, Georgia, this summer. The possible date is July 13, 2025, which is also the same weekend as AEW’s All In event and WWE’s Saturday Night’s Main Event , expected to happen on July 12. If this is true, that weekend could be full of exciting wrestling action for fans.

Reports are pointing toward a big wrestling weekend

The news first came from PWInsider Elite, which reported that WWE might be planning to hold Evolution 2 in Atlanta the same weekend as Saturday Night’s Main Event. This would create a big double event weekend in the city. It also lines up with AEW’s All In show, making it a busy time for wrestling.

Shortly after that, fans spotted a job post from Fanatics on Zip Recruiter. It was for a “Retail Event Associate” job at an event called “Evolution” in Atlanta. This listing made fans believe even more that WWE might really be planning the event, even though it hasn’t been officially announced yet.

At the same time, Fightful Select shared more information. They spoke to several people in WWE, including talent, who said they haven’t been told anything about Evolution 2.

“The idea of Evolution 2 has not been brought up to them,” the report said. Most people in WWE have only heard about it through the internet and fan chatter.

WWE Legends and fans are talking about it

Interestingly, Fightful also reported that some WWE legends have talked about Evolution 2. But even with that, it’s not clear if those legends were told by WWE or if they are also reacting to rumors online.

“The event has been discussed among some legends,” said Fightful, but no one has given a clear answer about whether WWE is truly moving forward with the show.

A few months ago, there were rumors that Connecticut could host the event. But now, all signs point to Atlanta. If WWE holds both Evolution and Saturday Night’s Main Event in the same city, it would make planning easier for travel and production.

As of now, WWE Evolution 2 is still not confirmed, but there are many signs that it could happen. Fans are hopeful to see another all-women’s event soon. If WWE does make it official, it could be one of the biggest weekends of wrestling this year.
