Cleveland Browns quarterback Shedeur Sanders is going viral after a clip of him participating in a reflex challenge started making the rounds on social media. Recently, a lot of the talk surrounding Sanders has been about his slip in the 2025 NFL Draft. Originally projected to be picked in the top 10, Sanders was eventually drafted by the Browns with the 144th overall pick.
Sanders’ viral clip was reposted on Instagram by the NFL’s official account with the caption: “Grabbing the first flag with the sound effect was impressive 😂👏.” Even though Sanders only managed to grab six out of the 10 challenge batons, his reflexes are nothing to be scoffed at.

The 23-year-old is an exceptional quarterback, a position that requires lightning-quick reflexes if your calls don’t go to plan. Sanders is likely to make his preseason debut for the Browns in August.

Speaking to team reporter Andrew Siciliano on Thursday’s episode of his podcast, Best Podcast Available, Sanders reflected on his minicamp experience.
“After yesterday's practice, I said to myself, 'I gotta have more fun,'" Sanders said.
“Whenever you're around teammates and being around everybody now, it gave me that wholesome feeling again being around the team chemistry, the different personalities that you're going to meet, all those different types of things."
Being the son of NFL legend Deion Sanders , Shedeur comes into the league with massive expectations on his shoulders. However, he remains unfazed and gave a simple answer when asked how he plans to prove himself right.
“Win games," Sanders answered. "I think that's what all the fans, what everybody wants to see, and just be the person that I know I am."
From being a potential first-rounder to falling all the way down to the 144th pick, Sanders’ journey to the NFL has already been quite unpredictable. Regardless, he has arrived and is ready to win with the Cleveland Browns. The Browns will begin their season against the Cincinnati Bengals on September 7.
