JAMMU: Amid tensions along the border with Pakistan following the Pahalgam massacre , two BJP MLAs in J&K toured villages in their respective constituencies and reassured border residents of their safety on Sunday.
Urging villagers not to panic, Jasrota’s MLA, Rajiv Jasrotia , said, “Under Modi govt, entire nation is united against Pakistan. The people of J&K can rest assured that their safety and security are of utmost importance for the govt and Indian security forces.”
He underlined that India's military prowess and determination would ensure that Pakistan is held accountable for its actions.
“The unwavering patriotism and resilience of border residents are truly commendable. Despite facing hostile circumstances, they continue to hold the national flag high, showcasing their unshakeable commitment to the nation's unity and integrity,” Jasrotia said.
Marh’s MLA, Satish Bhagat , visited border villages in his constituency and listened to the grievances and problems faced by people living in Zero Line border panchayats of Rajpura, Kana Chack, Panjore, Nai Basti, Gangu Chack, Shama Chack, Kalyanpur, Sohagni, Gho Manhasan, Makwal, and Summ.
Bhagat assured the border residents that the Indian Army and BSF are fully prepared to thwart the ill designs of the enemy and anti-national elements. “Pakistan’s policy will lead to its complete destruction,” he said.
