NEW DELHI: In an unusual ruling by the MP high court , an accused, who was reportedly seen raising slogans of 'Pakistan Zindabad, India Murdabad,' was ordered to salute the national flag and chant "Bharat Mata ki Jai" as part of his bail conditions at a police station in Jabalpur .

Faizal Nisar , the accused, expressed remorse stating, "Bharat Mata ki Jai. I accept that I made a mistake, I will abide by what the High Court ordered me. A man was shooting a video and thus the reel was made. I agree that I made a mistake, I will never do this again. I also tell others to not make this mistake."

The Madhya Pradesh high court at Jabalpur granted Nisar bail on October 15, 2024. His release required a personal bond of Rs 50,000 and one solvent surety of the same amount.

The accused came on time, saluted the national flag 21 times, and chanted 'Bharat Mata ki Jai.' I facilitated the fulfillment of the High Court’s conditions. As per the orders, he will continue reporting on the first and last Tuesday of every month between 10 AM and 12 noon until the trial concludes."

Nisar's adherence to these conditions will be closely monitored until the trial reaches its final outcome.
