Sean 'Diddy' Combs faces new sexual assault lawsuits amid growing allegations

Rapper Sean " Diddy " Combs has again been slapped with another sexual assault and rape accusations in five new civil lawsuits filed.

According to the suits, Combs sexually assaulted or raped the plaintiffs in separate incidents from 2000 to 2022. The plaintiffs include two men and three women, with one woman claiming that Combs raped her when she was only 13 years old. Additionally, the suits accuse Combs of drugging one of the men and the three women.

The five new civil lawsuits filed in the Southern District of New York by Texas-based attorney Tony Buzbee. Buzbee informed NBC News that he intended to file a total of seven suits on Sunday night.

In a statement, he said, "We will let the allegations in the filed complaints speak for themselves, and will work to see that justice is done. We expect to be filing cases weekly naming Combs and others as defendants as we continue to gather evidence and prepare the filings."

Combs' team has not yet responded to a request for comment regarding these new allegations. However, last week, Combs denied all the accusations made in six other suits filed by Buzbee. Through his attorneys, Combs stated, "Mr. Combs and his legal team have full confidence in the facts, their legal defenses, and the integrity of the judicial process. In court, the truth will prevail that Mr. Combs has never sexually assault anyone — adult or minor, man or woman."

Currently, Combs is being held without bail at the Metropolitan Detention Center in Brooklyn on federal racketeering and sex trafficking charges. His criminal trial is scheduled to begin on May 5. Federal prosecutors have revealed that they are reviewing data from over 90 devices belonging to Combs, which were seized during raids on his properties earlier this year and at the time of his arrest in New York.

Combs' legal team has filed a motion requesting that his accusers in the federal sex trafficking case be publicly identified to allow him to prepare a proper defense. They have also filed an appeal in New York's federal appeals court to fight the denial of his bail, NBC News reported.

Since his former girlfriend Casandra Ventura filed a lawsuit against him, which was immediately settled, several other individuals have sued Combs. Among them is Dawn Richard, a former member of the girl group Danity Kane, who alleges that Combs groped, assaulted, and imprisoned her, as well as threatened her life. Combs has consistently denied all the allegations made against him.
